A Long Night

The air was cold and crisp. The night was long and hectic. The two engaging the annual ritual.

Push in.
Pull firm.
Lean in.

He asked. The other gave.

He desired. The other offered.

He begged. The other pushed.

The air was hot and humid. The night was short and euphoric. The two engaging the annual ritual.

Heave in.
Yank taut.
Bury deep.

The Annual Feast

"Sometimes it's hard keeping the pretty look when a Fallen God bestowed you with any and all you wanted. Sometimes it's hard keeping tabs on the most dangerous enemies to your cause. But I don't let those things bother me. I have ways of keeping both my pretty looks and my subjects attentive... Excuse me, I must go before I unintentionally introduce you to my less... attractive appearance."

-Emperor Kaulcifer Aurios

It's gon get spoopy tonight 'Cause this is Thriller Night!

Halavan The Beaming Flame Dancer Guang Woo

It's only been half a century after the discovery of a race long dead from a time before the current era. The Bantioc expedition team expected only to find ruins and rich veins of valuable rare metals within the Ruined City of Taepan. What they encountered, was something even more valuable than all the riches of the world: Dae Yongs.

These giants of the past were thought to be extinct. Records from the Grand Archives document their conquest throughout the planet until a devastating, virulent disease began systematically wiping cities after cities. From such violent nature of this plague, it was commonly accepted that they would have died off if not from the actual pandemic, then from the sudden and harsh collapse of infrastructure.

Yet what the Bantioc expedition team found were living, breathing Dae Yongs, reviving each other from the long, isolated hibernation they subjected themselves to in order to escape the complete destruction of their race. These Dae Yongs weren't feral, nor where they disorganized. Systematically waking each other, already assigning positions in their social classes, everything was planned out for the race knew: in order to survive, everything must be preserved.

Of those who survived the devastation was a dynamic, exciting, flamboyant performer of his troupe: Guang Woo. Born from the brilliant rays of the sun and the roaring inferno of volcanoes, he took the role of spreading the very culture of his people. The old stage had closed its curtains but the new era illuminated the stages for his fiery performances. The Grand City of Taepan is being rebuilt; the five orders of Earth, Fire, Metal, Water, and Wind are restructuring themselves to what was once their pinnacle of power.

"Fires can dance and so can I. Join me and I'll rekindle your sparks!"

Guang Woo, The Universal Light performs for the new world, with the powers of a Fireborne dancer on the heart of his soul. Lighting up the stages with passion and spectacle.

"Papa, It's O' one twenty. Fleet Adm. Roh is expected in the CIC in four hours."

"I'll join you after this, son."

"Bed, Papa."

"Ow-... Aye sir."

Something small and simple because I recently moved @A@;;

Pirate The Gun Show

When it comes to getting a job done, no one is more brutal than an offworlder known only by his call name.

"Th' name's Captain Razorshard. THE Captain Razorshard. Ye'll do well t' remember it!"

If it isn't a ship he's rammed his hullbreacher into, it's the poor sops' booties stuck inside the crippled vessel he's already begun to shoot his way through.

Bantioc "Look Ma!"

"... Look what Papa and I caught!"

It's a very old tradition among families of Bantioc, tracing its roots long before the mighty Imperial Navy was a twinkle in the eyes of the island dwelling Arinos.

A rite of Passage of young Arinos boys to set out into the open ocean with his father or grandfather to bring back home a meal worthy to feed the entire village.

A tradition kept alive even after some three thousand years to set out into the deep blue sea to catch that what marks him as an adult.

Happy Fathers' Day, Marcus! Always proud of his Alexander, the chip off the old block!

Pirate Just about Dawnin'

"Life isn't easy when you're out an about on your own. Sometimes you just want to sleep in a little after the rough navigation. But if you want food on the table, you've got to rouse up at the crack of dawn, grab your trusty net, and shake off that drowsiness. But he's always there, with that calm look on him. You better watch it though, he's quick to muscle in if you miss your first catch of the day."

Bantioc Christening the Cockpit

It's not often the Imperial Bantioc Navy rolls out new sets of wings for the Air Force. But when there's a new pair of wings to spread, some can't help but get a feel for the new upholstery, the controls, the view.

A fine chip off the old block. Ace Pilot, 7 High Honors, Valedictorian, and one of the youngest Vice Admirals.

At least Papa Roh won't find out what Li'l Roh did right before he took the new Skylark out for a spin.

At least that's what Alexander Roh wants to believe.

Ferlovious The Encounter

We call them Draconians.

An ancient race of our world, hardened to the apex of their evolution by the unforgiving Deserts of Ferlovious.

Sun Divers.

Revenants.

Sand Drakes.

They're known by many names.

But none speak louder than their presence.

Galivas The Lantern Festival

It starts with picking the right color of the paper.
Red for Happiness.
Yellow for Prosperity.
Blue for Peace.
Orange for Health.

Then build the frame that best portray your resolution.
Cylinder for Spreading Love.
Box for More Wealth.
Cone for Good Harvest.
Ball for Gaining Strength.

After that, it's time to decorate! Draw or paint the crest of family or heritage, or write messages of good fortune.

Once it's done, light it up and hang it on the pole to raise it high into the air. As the Parade starts, the streets will be light just by the Lantern Festival. Everyone will be there, so come join us!
